Fluid Workflow
When coordinating any kind of BIM a proper documentation trail may not be necessary but it is highly recommended. It also involves working with a team who knows how to communicate with each other. This way, the workflow will be more fluid once the modeling commences. As such, the following should be coordinated ahead of time:
1.The schedule
2.File naming process
3.Modeling locations
4.Methods for bim integration
5.Software versions
The difference between success and failure is the workflow and this means that it needs to be properly organized. A simple meeting can go a long way to ensuring that everyone on the BIM team is on the same page.
Issues and Resolutions
The reality is that there are going to be issues from time to time amongst the BIM team. There may be layering problems, clash resolutions, and more. As long as there is a detailed report of all the issues and who is responsible for resolving each of the issues, it can keep the project on the necessary time schedule. When issues are resolved, they can be removed or archived. The team can then move forward on the modeling to ensure that it is capable of performing the way it needs to without further issue.
